9:26:46 PM:  Antares51: I did another check on the web for battery info. The battery must be removed quickly or else. The proper procedure requires motherboard removal, a major pain! I'm going to use snippers to remove as much to the barrel section as I can. I believe the battery is surface mounted. My game plan is soldering the leads to a cordless phone battery of the same kind.
